How to use the catalogue
- Price the seat, not the desk. The comparable unit is desk plus chair plus pedestal; a quotation showing only the workstation rate is not comparable to one that does not.
- Insist on certification for the chairs. BIFMA or equivalent, tested rather than claimed.
- Confirm access for the large items. A 4,800 mm boardroom table and a phone booth both arrive in pieces and need a route from the loading bay.
Three mistakes this prevents
- 1,200 mm desks for dual-monitor roles. The monitors take the depth and the keyboard has nowhere to go.
- Single-motor height-adjustable desks. They drift under uneven load; dual-motor is worth paying for.
- Tall storage not fixed to the wall. A loaded tall unit tips, which is a safety issue rather than a preference.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to furnish an office per seat?+
₹24,500 to ₹50,000 per seat for a desk, a task chair and a pedestal at a normal corporate specification. Add meeting rooms, cabins, storage and reception and the all-in furniture figure typically lands between ₹32,000 and ₹70,000 per seat across the floor.
What desk size should I buy?+
1,200 x 600 mm is the Mumbai standard and works for a single-monitor role. 1,400 x 700 mm is the minimum for dual monitors and is what design, finance and engineering teams need. The difference across fifty desks is real money, which is why it should be decided by role rather than uniformly.
Are height-adjustable desks worth it?+
For long-hours and executive roles, yes. At ₹32,000 to ₹75,000 they are three to five times a fixed desk, so most offices deploy them selectively rather than across the floor. Specify dual-motor; single-motor units drift and rack under an uneven load.
What should I look for in a task chair?+
Synchro tilt, seat-depth adjustment and adjustable arms, plus BIFMA or equivalent certification. Those three adjustments do more for comfort than mesh type or headrests. A ₹8,500 chair with them beats an ₹18,000 chair without them for anyone sitting eight hours.
How long does office furniture take to deliver?+
Four to eight weeks for most items from a confirmed order, longer for veneer boardroom tables and phone booths. Order it at the same time as the fit-out starts, not when the fit-out finishes, or the office is complete and empty for a month.
