How to use the catalogue
- Measure your lift diagonal before ordering anything large. An L-shaped sofa or a 96 in dining table has to be made knock-down for most Mumbai buildings, and that has to be decided at manufacture.
- Work backwards from your handover date. A six-week dining table ordered in the last month of a project arrives after you have moved in and eaten on the floor for three weeks.
- Use the standard sizes as a starting point. They are the sizes that fit Mumbai rooms; custom dimensions add cost and time, so change them for a reason.
Three mistakes this prevents
- Ordering a fixed L-shaped sofa for a sixth-floor flat. It reaches the lobby and stops, and the crane alternative costs more than the discount that justified it.
- A bed box in MR ply. The floor of a storage bed sits close to a concrete slab; BWP is the correct specification and the price difference is small.
- Underestimating upholstery lead time. Fabric selection, approval and production is five weeks for a sofa, and the clock starts when the fabric is confirmed, not when the order is placed.

Frequently asked questions
Is custom furniture cheaper than buying retail?+
Not usually cheaper, but better fitted. Retail furniture is made to standard sizes for standard rooms; Mumbai rooms are rarely either. Custom earns its premium where a piece has to work to an exact dimension — a TV unit in an alcove, a bed in an 11 ft room — not on a free-standing armchair.
How long does custom furniture take?+
Three weeks for simple ply items like a bedside table or a bench, four to five for most joinery, five to six for upholstery and solid-wood dining tables. Those are production times from confirmed drawings and confirmed fabric, not from the first conversation.
What is knock-down furniture?+
A piece manufactured in sections that bolt together on site, used where the assembled item will not pass a lift, a staircase or a door. It is standard practice in Mumbai for large sofas, boardroom tables and wide wardrobes, and a well-made knock-down joint is invisible once assembled.
Do you deliver outside Mumbai?+
Prices here include delivery and installation within Mumbai and Thane. Beyond that, transport is quoted separately and depends on distance and access. For Pune or Nashik it is usually a modest addition; the bigger variable is whether the site can receive an assembled piece.
What ply should furniture be made from?+
BWP grade for bed boxes, kitchen base units, bathroom vanities and anything near water. MR grade for wardrobes, TV units, study tables and the general run of joinery. Any quotation that simply says ‘plywood’ without a grade should be asked to specify before it is compared with another.
