How we work differently
The most common way an interior project goes wrong in India is the handoff. A designer produces drawings, a contractor prices them, and the two spend the next four months disagreeing while the client arbitrates. Every variation becomes a negotiation, and the person with the least information carries the risk.
A drawing that cannot be built at the quoted price is not a design. It is a wish.

Because we execute what we draw, the estimate is written by the people who will build it. That single structural decision removes most of the cost creep from a project — and it is why we are willing to put a completion date in the contract.

- Spend on what you cannot change later. Carcass and hardware over shutter finish, every time.
- Tell clients the truth about materials. Marble stains. Acrylic shows fingerprints. Say so before, not after.
- The BOQ is the relationship. If it is honest and detailed, the project usually is too.

Where is Greenbox Design Studio based?+
Mumbai. We deliver projects across the city and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including Thane, Navi Mumbai and Palghar.
Do you only work in Mumbai?+
Mumbai and the MMR are our core delivery area, where we can supervise sites properly. We have delivered further afield, including Palghar, but we are honest about the fact that supervision frequency is what protects quality.
What size projects do you take?+
From a single modular kitchen through to full-home interiors and multi-floor commercial fit-outs. The smallest standalone projects we take are typically kitchen or wardrobe replacements.
Can I see completed projects?+
Yes — our portfolio shows delivered work with the brief and decisions behind each. We can also arrange for you to speak directly with past clients, which we encourage before you commit to any studio.
