How to finish on time
- Freeze the BOQ before site work starts.
- Choose appliances during design so cut-outs are correct first time.
- Apply for society NOC at design sign-off, not at mobilisation.
- Order long-lead materials — stone, imported hardware — immediately after sign-off.
- Hold one weekly site review and make all decisions in it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a 2BHK interior take?+
Ten to twelve weeks of execution after three to four weeks of design, so thirteen to sixteen weeks in total without civil work. Flooring or plumbing changes add two to four weeks.
Why do Mumbai projects take longer?+
Most societies permit noisy work only between about 10am and 6pm with no Sunday working, which removes roughly a quarter of available site time compared with an independent house. Service-lift restrictions for material movement add further constraint.
Can a home interior be done faster?+
Somewhat. Freezing the BOQ, ordering long-lead materials at sign-off, deciding appliances early and — where the society permits — running extended hours can compress a programme by 15–20%. Beyond that, compression usually costs quality.
